Permablitz at Sacred Roots!

Repeats every day 1 times.
Saturday, March 23, 2013 - 9:00am to 5:00pm

A permablitz is a hands on workshop designed to help people grow a fully sustainable perennial food forest while teaching others how to do the same.

This event needs volunteers to make this dream happen. Come out to learn how to fully implement a permaculture design complete with earthworks, fruit trees, farmers trees, vegetables, and herbs.

Kirby Fry will be heading this Permablitz to spread core values of Permaculture by integrating the current flow of nature and harmonious existence of life with real hands on design. He emphasizes the use of native plants and serious water conservation in every blitz. This is the 3rd blitz so far with the past two being very fruitful.

This event runs from March 23-24 from 9am-5pm. There will be a full fresh garden lunch provided. Please bring a $20 donation so we can keep these events going.

Please also bring any tools you think will be useful such as a shovel, rake, spade, hoe, pick axe, and anything else useful for digging and planting! Also be sure to bring a good pair of gloves and your own canteen or water bottle.
